RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
ELIGIBILITY
Youth ages 4 through 12 are eligible for the Recreational program.
These ages are determined by the players age during the year that the next Spring soccer season takes place.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The mission of the Recreation program is to provide a positive and safe developmental environment for soccer players of every skill level while promoting skill development, good sportsmanship, a love of the game and equal playing time.
Beginning at the age of nine, players may choose to transition to Competitive soccer via our Winter Skills Camp and Academy programs.
TIME FRAME
Practice begins in mid-August with the season ending around the beginning of October.
2020 Season: Practices start the week of 8/10. Games will be played between 8/22 and 10/3 with no games played on 9/5
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Each player will receive a team shirt courtesy of our sponsors.
Each player is required to bring the following to each session.

Athletic Clothes & Shoes, like gym clothes, appropriate to weather conditions.

Shin Guards
Though not required, the following are allowed and encourage for U8 and above.

Fully inflated, appropriate sized soccer ball.

VENUE
Game venues are announced with the schedules.
Practices locations are determined by team coaches and typically occur at one of Laurel's public parks.
